TQRChart for Delphi 10.3 Rio and QuickReport 506 Pro

Hi,
I have started the process of moving our development environment from Delphi 10 Seattle to Delphi 10.3 Rio. For D10 I was able to download a project (Tee9QR5D23Std) which allowed me to build the TQRChart component for QuickReport 506 - which was quite straightforward to do.

Is there a similar project which will allow me to install TQRChart for QuickReport 506 in D10.3 Rio - the most recent project if QR6 for D10.2 Tokyo? If not which is the best way to proceed?

Thanks for the quick turnaround on those packages - I am using TeeChart standard (at the moment) so the first project was correct!

I'm getting a E2225 Never-build package TeeDB926 must be recompiled (11471) [VCL.Tee.DBChart] when building Tee9QR506D26 and DCLTee9QR506D26. I've gone through the "cleaning environment" steps as a precaution but as this is a fresh install of Delphi didn't find any problems

The precompiled packages from here seem to work without problems for me. I just copied the DclTee9QR506D26.bpl package from the compiledwin32 folder into the "bin" folder in the IDE, the "Tee9QR506D26.bpl" packages into "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" and the rest of files from the "compiledwin32" folder into the "\lib\win32\release" folder in the IDE.

Also, if I open the ProjectGroup1.groupproj, I can Clean and Build both projects.

I've still not had any joy with this installation despite taking the (drastic) step of completely uninstalling D10.3 and removing all trace of it from my machine. There were a few D10 files and folders which were also cleaned up so as far as I'm concerned it's a totally clean install environment.

I've then installed a clean copy of D10.3, QuickReport 5.06 Pro and TeeChart 2018.26 - no other libraries other than these. Rather frustratingly I still have the problem that I need to re-compile TeeDB926 despite a clean installation, clean projects etc. However, I was able to install the BPL into the component pallet from the files already supplied but something is still not right as I cannot compile these projects myself.

I'm not a novice when in comes to installing Delphi packages, indeed I have been using TeeChart with QuickReport for many years without issue but I have spent many hours trying to resolve this issue and I'm no further forward. While I appreciate you are able to build this yourself some further assistance would be appreciated.

I've been investigating some more and have resolved the issue.

For future reference and if anyone else experiences the same issue I found that the Delphi 10.3 install had put a huge amount of files into a %user%\My Documents\Embarcadero which I missed while cleaning the environment from previous installations. Uninstalling Delphi, deleting this folder, following the cleanup guide lines and reinstalling Delphi, QuickReport, TeeChart has resolve the recompile issue with TeeDB926 and the TQRChart projects are building successfully.

Hello Neil,

The only thing I can think in that %user% path that could be interfering when building the TQRChart packages is the "Projects" folder. Maybe that folder was present in your library path and it may contain TeeChart compiled units that were found before finding the sources.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear you found how to make it work!
