TeeChart VCL/FMX 2018.26 Install in Rio

Hi!

I downloaded the new Version 2018.26 and I installed it. I want to recompile, but when I start TeeRecompile.exe then came an error message see Clipboard01.png. Then I choose the source folder. Now I can't see my enviroment: Rio (Clipboard02.png)

Please help.

Could you please check if you have any of these keys?
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Embarcadero\BDS\20.0"
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Embarcadero\BDS\20.0"

These are the places TeeRecompile checks to extract the IDE information ("Edition" string and "RootDir" path to find the compiler). When this information is found, an item in the TeeRecompile Tree is created.

Maybe TeeRecompile doesn't have enough rights to read that. Could you please try running it with high privileges (run as administrator)?

Have you tried the binary version? Note the source code license gives you access to the binary installers.
If it installs fine, you'd have a usable environment while we continue investigating where's the problem with the source code install.
Note you can reinstall a version to the IDE just running TeeInstall.exe in the installation. So you won't need to run the binary installer if you want to do a test with the source code version.

unfortunatelly not working....
I downloaded it and installed it, but with TeeInstall.exe i have an error messages see Clipboard03.png.
Clipboard04.png path is not correct at end is .win32 -> c:\Program Files (x86)\Steema Software\Steema TeeChart Pro VCL FMX 2018.26\Delphi26\Delphi26.win32\
I habe tried to install manually the bpl's, but not working....

No previous version of RAD Studio installed.

I tried it on two machines: one with the default installation location and one that tries to install to a folder where the user has all rights.

I have tried to install the binary version but it didn't work.
However, this version does offer the option to select the proper Delphi version (the source code version doesn't) and it takes longer to install but fails anyway.

We haven't been able to reproduce the exact situation but following the error message we got to a possible fix. We are preparing test source code installers and we'll send them to you asap.

Once we get the source code installers working fine, we'll prepare the binary installers.

Not fixed with new installer. After the AV pops up a dialog to browse with the folder for TeeChart Sources. Don't know if theis helps finding the error.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it reaffirms the impression I have that the patch on the works should be in the right direction.
We'll send a new mail with a new private test installer in a few minutes.

I have tried the latest installer and it still doesn't work.
- No option to select the Delphi version in the staller
- TeeRecompile crashes
- No option to select the Delphi version in TeeRecompile
