Hi,

Just updated from 2016.0.0.0 to 2016.0.0.1 (AX 32 bit).

When calling :AboutBox() both versions display the same version (v2016.0.0.0.160422 32 bit ActiveX).

Besides why is it saying "unregistered" in the bottom left side?

Sorry, we missed to update the internal constant to reflect the new version number in that release.

We'll revise what's wrong here. Anyhow worth to note this doesn't limit your product in any manner.

Updated to 2016.0.0.2: Still "unregistered" !!!!!

That's strange. We've checked it here in 3 different machines and it works fine with v2016.0.0.2.
Maybe the installer was run without enough privileges to write the necessary key into the registry. To check that, I would suggest you to uninstall the v2016.0.0.2 and reinstall it making sure you run the installer "as administrator".

You should find a key in the registry here (don't write it here, it should be your license number):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Steema Software\Licenses\AX\2016.0.0.2

I work a little bit different.
When a new version of Teechart comes out I use an old, secure computer to run the installer. I pick up the new "teechart2016.ocx" and distribute this to the computers who need it. The registry key is therefore never present.
How do you imagine to distribute Teechart on a few dozen (or more) computers?

Besides, if I were to run a commercial enterprise and distribute teechart with one of my applications wouldn't that reveal my licence number to a buyer?
