Re: Answervetor results
Hi Yeray, I always tought that items on a wishlist were nice to have but are no showstoppers, have low priority, are something for a new versionnumber. A bug/flaw is something which has to be adressed direct/soon/within a certain time periode and have certainly a higher priority than a wish. Time fr...

Re: Answervetor results
Hi Yeray, Good that you are taking action. Putting this in the manual is a step forward. However, I would be a strong advocate to not rank this item as a wish (but as a bug or a flaw) for the following reason. Altough you wil document this behaviour the results of the answervector are still unexpect...

Re: Answervetor results
OK, Thanks.
BUT, wouldn't it be better if you documented this unexpected behaviour OR BETTER
if you put the neccessary corrections into the code.
Greetings,
Jack

Re: Answervetor results
To eleborate on the above. When fitting a 2nd order polynome (polydegree=3) through the raw data, the answervector produces this: answervector[1]=0.435702 answervector[2]=0.018398 answervector[3]=0.003604 MS-Excel calculates on the same data y=0.003604x^2 + 0.011191x + 11.400907 So again, the highes...

Answervetor results
Hi, After struggling some time I got the answervector working. Now the results the answervector presents puzzle me. Below a screenshot of the used data. On the left are the x, y-values of the raw data, on the right are the x,y-vaules of the linear (PolyDegree=2) fit. TC1.JPG The fit is performed via...

Re: AnswerVector
Hi Yeray,
It works.
My mistake. I wasn't aware that I had to use the 64 bit ocx in a full 64 bit OS+app.
Thanks,
Jack

AnswerVector
Hi,
I'm trying to retrieve the coefficients of a fit on some data via otemp:FunctionType:asCurveFit:answervector. But it looks like the answervector array isn't accessible.
Could you check this please?
I'm using the 2011.0.0.5 version.
TIA,
Jack

Re: Just a tip
Hi Yeray, I found 2 *.exd files (but in other paths) and deleted them. No change. My IDE and applications still crash with 2102 ocx. No problem with 2011 ocx. The above mentioned primairy error 50 refers to a call of a method that does not exist OR the refered object (of the method called) is not in...

Re: Just a tip
Hi Yeray, I recieved your updated 2012 ocx. Thanks for this. Unfortunatly there is no change in the behaviour. My IDE still crashes, my applications crash on initializing the control. The 2011 ocx still works fine. What's remarkable is when running my applications from within the IDE, during the cra...

Re: Just a tip
Hoi Yeray, I just downloaded and installed the final AX 2012 version. After a quick check it turns out that I still have the same problem. My applications crash as soon as the Teechart component is initialized. What is working are the demo's, so the installation should be OK. What is not working are...

Re: Just a tip
Hi Yeray, I'm still investigating. My enviroment is called Visual Objects (a kind of clipper for windows). The code line which my program can't handle lookes like: SELF:oDCTC:CreateEmbedding('TeeChart.TChart') Running the program from within the IDE resorts to "An unhandled exeption occured in modul...

Re: Just a tip
Hi Yeray, I don't need it anymore. It installed the whole "Christmas tree" under the 2012 version. After that I deinstalled everything but the help and the 2011 and 2012 ocx and registered the 2012 version. Now, the new 2012 release causes me troubles. It doesn'y work within my ide (enviroment crash...

Just a tip
You would do me (and probably others) a great favor if you could/would distribute new/maintenance version of the AX-component in a light version. I have no need to recieve and install the complete help, demo's, tutorials, examples, etc. The only thing I'm interrested in (especcialy with a maintananc...
